Curated by ADGI

Since its founding in 1980, the Asosiasi Desainer Grafis Indonesia (ADGI), or the Indonesian Association of Graphic Designers, has been a pivotal force in the nation's creative industries. As the largest association for Indonesian graphic designers, ADGI has played a crucial role in developing a vibrant and sustainable design community, enhancing the professional skills of its members, and advocating for the importance of design in both commercial and cultural spheres. With a commitment to professionalism, innovation, and collaboration, ADGI continues to drive the evolution of the graphic design landscape, empowering Indonesian designers to make significant contributions both locally and globally, ensuring they lead in the international design arena.

Members of ADGI have curated an eclectic mix of books from the Art&Science store, showcasing their diverse interests in design. Their selection includes "B Magazine Helvetica," celebrating the iconic typeface; "Assouline Smiley 50 years of Good News," which delves into the cultural impact of the Smiley symbol; "Phaidon Now Is Better," exploring contemporary design's influence on our world; and "Phaidon Great Women Artists," an anthology highlighting the contributions of women in art over five centuries. Each book reflects ADGI's commitment to innovation, history, and inclusivity in design.
